Educational Credential Verification

Want to verify academic information?

The credential verification is done through Office of the Controller of Examinations, Kathmandu University. The official letters and documents are sent directly to the concerned institution, organization or any other employer upon request. The students or alumni have to provide direct mailing address or details of the person to contact at the receiving organization; The Office of the Controller of Examinations will send verification documents directly to the stated organization. It is required to pay a nominal fee for the verification service.

WES Credential Evaluations: For sending official academic records to WES for Credential Evaluations, students can create an online request for WES verification (Certificate/Document Verification). The necessary details, including a WES reference number, must be provided at the time of creating the request. The Electronic-copy of the requested documents (transcripts and degree certificate) will be directly sent to WES after reviewing the application. Kathmandu University has a digital partnership with WES and NO HARD COPIES WILL BE SENT TO WES; only digital copies will be sent.

Academic certificates and documents

Note: A provisional certificate is a temporary certificate issued to the student by the university telling that you have completed your graduation. It is a temporary certificate until the Original Degree Certificate is issued. It has no expiry date, however, the day your degree certificate is issued, the Provisional Certificate will no longer hold any importance. The original certificates are provided after a convocation.
